Meet and Confer Agreement Approved on Unanimous Board Vote

The first-ever negotiations between Pima County employees and County management are over.  And we have won a significant victory in a difficult economic environment with the Pima County Board's unanimous 5-0 vote.

Mary Denton hasn’t been a Pima County employee for very long. An RN, she began working for Pima Health System in Patient Care Services last December. But she brings with her more than 30 years of nursing experience as well as a firm commitment to high-quality patient care.

A BRIEF OVERVIEW:  Meet and Confer is the process Pima County employees follow to develop a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).  An MOU is like a contract -- and we have to negotiate the terms of our 'contract'
